When Haverhill’s Farmers Market relocates to downtown’s Merrimack Street starting June 23, residents have the opportunity to take advantage of more than 25 local vegetable, food and dessert venders from across the city and Merrimack Valley.

Returning to mark their 40th season are Wally and Stephanie Lesiczka, of Wally’s Vegetables, who first offered produce during the Farmers Market’s 1978 debut. Joining the couple are vendors including the A-1 Deli (offering handmade baklava), Chris’ Farm Stand and Honey Pot Maple Farm.

Quinn’s Canine Café—soon to open a shop on Washington Street—is set to sell natural and organic dog treats, while Slippery Soap Company plans to market goat’s milk soaps and body products.

Most vendors appear weekly, with other select vendors committing to biweekly and monthly sales.
