Timothy Allen Ball, 65, passed away May 9 at his home in Haverhill.
Born in Amesbury, he was the son of the late Elston N. and Eleanor G. Ellery. Ball was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. He was employed as a certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes in the Merrimack Valley area before he became a cab driver. Ball was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoyed fishing and smoking one of his pipes from his extensive collection.
He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Lassor of Merrimac and April Ball of Lawrence, brothers, Richard S. Ball of New Hampshire, William Ball of Haverhill, Edward F. Ball of Barrington, N.H., sisters Caroline Ball-Chaplick of Haverhill, Menetta Joan King of Hurst, Tex., and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
