Famed TV analyst, author and columnist Jackie MacMullan is headed to Haverhill for a night of sports talk, a silent auction and dinner to benefit local charities including Pentucket Kiwanis and Buttonwoods.

Tickets for MacMullan’s Wednesday, Aug. 29 appearance at DiBurro’s are $80 per person and available for advance purchase by visiting buttonwoods.org/centercourt or by calling 978-886-0905.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, MacMullan covered the NBA for publications including the Boston Globe, Sports Illustrated and ESPN.com. She collaborated with Celtics legend Larry Bird on his 1999 autobiography “Bird Watching,” and released her most recent New York Times bestseller, “When the Game Was Ours,” with coauthors Bird and Magic Johnson in 2009.
