Massachusetts State Police are on the lookout for one or more suspects believed to have been involved in a shooting death at 4:41 p.m., on Portland Street, in downtown Haverhill.
All information is preliminary and subject to confirmation, but police radio traffic suggests troopers are searching for a red Mazda CX-9 and report a firearm was used.
Haverhill Mayor James J. Fiorentini declined comment and Haverhill Police have not yet responded to inquiries.
