State Police Friday arrested three New Hampshire residents for drug trafficking during a traffic stop in Methuen, seizing 40 grams of cocaine and an H&R revolver with nine live rounds of ammunition.
Andover-based Trooper Joseph Diliegro was on patrol Friday just before 10:30 p.m. on Lawrence’s Prospect Street when he spotted a red Toyota speeding. Diliegro stopped the vehicle on Prospect Street just prior to Curtis Street in Methuen.
Driver Amanda Reilly, 29, of Salem, N.H., was arrested alongside passengers Alfred Colon, 32, of Londonderry, N.H., and Casey Currivan, 34, of Manchester, N.H.
All three are charged with heroin trafficking, conspiracy to violate drug laws, carrying a loaded firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition, among other charges.
Reilly faces speeding and other motor vehicle-related charges, while Colon and Currivan were taken into custody on prior warrants. Both attempted to evade capture by disguising their identities, police said. Colon gave a false name during the booking process.
Colon and Currivan were denied bail. Reilly’s bail was set at $25,000.
