Sheriff Candidate Jajuga to Speak at Republican Meeting

James Jajuga Jr., Republican candidate for Essex County sheriff, will address Haverhill Republicans this Thursday.

The Haverhill Republican City Committee meets at 7 p.m.,  Thursday, June 2, at  Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main St., according to Chairman William H. Ryan. Jajuga, an attorney and lieutenant on the Methuen police force, seeks the seat to be vacated by Sheriff Frank G. Cousins Jr. The public is invited.

The committee will also vote to decide whether to make a pre-convention endorsement of presidential candidate Donald Ttrump. A few trump lawn signs and stickers will be available, Ryan said.

  1. Here comes the hackerama once again. The Ryan / Jajuga / Fiorentini / Bevilaqua political circle is back. People are wondering why he is running as a republican when his Father is a big democrat. Maybe he didn’t want to compete against all the qualified dems in the primary ? Who knows but what I can tell people is that Jimmy Sr has integrity problems. And, after the few recent issues of the pot store and the Mayor, and the recent expose’ over at the Register of deeds, would people want Jimmy Sr.’s hands in running the jail ?
