Rodney Daryl Lattime, 49, Owned Painting Company

Rodney Daryl Lattime, 49, of Amesbury, died Saturday, Jan. 13 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer, with his fiancée Karen Marshall and his beloved family by his side.

Born in Haverhill on Nov. 4, 1968, he was the son of the late John and Carol (Salvi) Lattime and the late Pamela McCarthy. He was a graduate of Amesbury High School.

For many years, Lattime ran his own painting company, working throughout the greater Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire area.

Lattime was always the life of the party. His endless tales left everyone laughing and begging for more. He loved spending time with his friends in the “Shed Life,” was always ready for karaoke, enjoyed ice fishing and his time as coach for the Amesbury Jets.

In addition to his fiancee, he is survived by a daughter Logan Lattime, four brothers Scott Lattime and husband Gregory Russo of Truro, Steven Lattime of Haverhill, Michael McCarthy and wife Jill of North Carolina and Kevin McCarthy and wife Jen of Holden, a sister Kathy Lathrop and husband Richard of Kittery Point, Maine, Anna Gervais, the life partner of his second Mom, Pamela McCarthy, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister Jodi Lattime.

Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, will be Friday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Following the visiting hours, friends and family are invited to the Barn, 5 Ring St., Amesbury, for a “Celebration of Life” gathering.
