Rochelle Davenport, 44, of Kittery, Maine, and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Thursday night, Oct. 20, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston after a battle with breast cancer
She was born in Haverhill July 6, 1972, daughter of Stephanie Davenport Lamb and the late Robert Breeland. Davenport was educated in the Haverhill public school system and graduated from Haverhill High School. After high school she was employed as a clerk at several retail stores. She loved to cook for her family as well as sing and dance.
Davenport is survived by her mother, Stephanie Davenport-Lamb and her husband Robert of Andover; six children, Marcus Davenport of Salem, N.H., Jessica Davenport of Salem, N.H., Stephanie Davenport of Biddeford, Maine, Mario Evans of Kittery, Maine, Alicea Pedrinho of Kittery, Maine, and Mekhi Davenport of Kittery, Maine; two grandchildren, Dia and Desmond Dumbuya; fiance Andrew Silva; two sisters, Yolanda Davenport of Andover and Erica Davenport of Florida; two step sisters, Christina Reyes and her husband Michael of Florida and Telia Lamb of Florida; grandparents Jessie and Isiah Christy of Lawrence; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend her calling hours today at H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral follows at the funeral home at 12:15PM.
