Rae F. (Burns) Danforth, 76, Worked in Haverhill Shoe Industry

Rae F. (Burns) Danforth, 76, formerly of Haverhill, passed away Friday, July 14 surrounded by her loving family. Born May 5, 1941 in Georgetown, the daughter of the late Malcolm and Evelyn (Goodwin) Burns, she attended Georgetown schools and graduated from Georgetown High School.

Danforth lived in Haverhill for over 64 years and worked in the Haverhill shoe industry for over 10 years before moving to Hampstead, N.H. with her family. She was employed with Lucent Technologies in North Andover for over 20 years. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, bingo and visiting the slot machines at Foxwoods.  

Danforth is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Earl Danforth; three daughters, Cindy Dubois and husband Bryan of Plaistow, Belinda Brown of Danville, N.H. and Raelene Morse and husband William of Haverhill; son Jon Danforth of Grafton, N.H.; sister Sandra Payette; two brothers, Malcolm Burns and Richard Burns; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue Haverhill, MA 01830.
