Radio Drama Lineup: The Pipers Babysit a Sick Dog

Alan Bunce, Margaret Hamilton and Peg Lynch star in the Couple Next Door, heard at 10 p.m., Friday, with a repeat at 1 a.m.

“The Couple Next Door,” the Pipers (Peg Lynch and Alan Bunce) are distracted from attending a party on New Year’s Eve 1958 because of a sick dog.

Aunt Effie, played by Margaret Hamilton of Wizard of Oz fame, and Betsy stay home.

The series is heard Friday nights at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. over 97.9 WHAV FM.
