The Plaistow YMCA is saluting those educators from the Timberlane Regional School District making an impact on their community and those they teach.
Ahead of the town’s first-ever Educator of the Year Recognition Celebration in October, the Y encourages residents to nominate teachers who have gone the extra mile for his or her students.
Nominees must be submitted in writing no later than October 1. Teachers must have at least three years of experience and nomination letters need to include contact information for both the educator and person nominating them.
Special attention will be paid to applicants who foster the Y’s mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
