Patricia Ann (Bradley) Gouthier, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Port Rehab in Newburyport.
Born in Haverhill on July 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Bradley. She grew up in South Groveland and married Harry E. Gouthier, sharing 60 years of loving marriage. A military mother for the first 20 years of their marriage, Gouthier worked for Bixby Shoe for eight years and then later worked and retired from A.W. Chesterton after 23 years.
Gouthier enjoyed trips to Foxwoods Casino and vacations at the beach. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was a special woman to many people. She may be gone, but she will live in all of our hearts forever.
In addition to her husband Harry, she is survived by her adored children Arthur F. Gouthier and wife Anita of Hampton, N.H., William J. Gouthier of Hampton, N.H., Mark J. Gouthier and wife Christine of Haverhill, Dwayne A. Gouthier and wife Carol of Berlin, N.H., George P. Gouthier of Raynham, Patrick J. Gouthier of Haverhill and Catherine M. Boyd and husband Robert of Haverhill, siblings Rita Thomasino of Salem, N.H., and Anthony Bradley of Kansas City, Mo., 20 cherished grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theresa Bonney, Agnus Zacharias, Larry Bradley, Richard Bradley and George Bradley.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 18 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill from 2-7 p.m. Services will take place at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gouthier’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
