Novelist Tova Mirvis to Kick Off Temple Emanu-El’s 2017 Author Series

Temple Emanu-El is set to welcome bestselling novelist Tova Mirvis as the first author taking part in their 2017 Author Series. Set to appear at 514 Main St. in Haverhill on Sunday, Sept. 24, Mirvis will discuss her upcoming memoir “The Book of Separation.”

In her latest book, Mirvis, who also authored the novels “Visible City,” “The Outside World” and “The Ladies Auxiliary,” describes her departure from the Orthodox community in which she grew up.

Participants are welcome to enjoy a continental breakfast at 9:30 a.m. before the author program begins at 10 a.m. Mirvis will be available to sign copies of her book after the event. A $10 donation is suggested and reservations are encouraged by contacting [email protected].
