Methuen School Committee Vice Chair Nicholas DiZoglio is voting Koh for Congress.

The committeeman lent his support to Andover hopeful Daniel Koh in an endorsement this week, praising Koh’s ability to “cut through the noise to get things done.”

“Dan is committed to making sure that everyone has access to a high-quality education. Dan knows that when we invest in students and teachers, we invest in our country’s future,” said DiZoglio, who has served on Methuen’s School Committee since 2015. “In Congress, Dan will cut through the noise to get things done and strengthen our public education system.”

Running in the 3rd District Congressional race to succeed Niki Tsongas, Koh confirms that education is a key part of his campaign platform.

“Like Nicholas, I firmly believe that a good education is the lynchpin to the American Dream,” Koh said. “As Congressman, I will work everyday to close the achievement gap, make college more affordable, and expand educational opportunities.”

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh’s former Chief of Staff Koh is one of several Democrats vying for a spot on the ballot. Other local contenders include Andover State Sen. Barbara L’Italien and Haverhill newcomer Alexandra Chandler.
