Methuen Police are again seeking the public’s help in identifying a masked man who robbed a convenience store clerk at knifepoint Wednesday night.

In surveillance video, the man can be seen leaving a silver sedan (possibly an Audi or Volkswagen) at about 7:45 p.m., and entering Pleasant Valley Superette, 298 Merrimack St., Methuen, with a knife in hand.

Once inside the store, police said, he went behind the counter, displayed the large knife and demanded money from the clerk.  The video shows him returning to the silver car. The car was last seen heading toward Lawrence.

He is described as a white man, approximately six feet tall, and was wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask, gray running pants and dark sneakers. The vehicle will have a dent between the right rear door and trunk. Those who have tips or information, are asked to call Methuen Police at 978-983-8698.
