Merrimac Police Identify Haverhill Crash Victim

Police in Merrimac Thursday released the identity of a 74-year-old Haverhill man who died after a single-vehicle crash on route 110, West Main Street, Wednesday afternoon.

The crash, at about 1:52 p.m., Wednesday, in the vicinity of 60 West Main St., claimed the life of  Richard A. Talbot, 74, of Haverhill, according to Merrimac Police Chief Eric M. Shears.

“On behalf of the Merrimac Police Department, I wish to convey my most sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Talbot during this extremely difficult time,” Shears said in a statement Thursday.
