It’s a parking holiday in Haverhill! Mayor James J. Fiorentini has approved free parking in the city’s downtown business district on Thursday, Dec. 21 and Friday, Dec. 22.

“We have many great businesses and restaurants in our downtown and I want to encourage our residents to shop and dine local this holiday season,” Fiorentini said.

Next week’s free parking includes all municipal metered parking lots, all metered streets and the Herbert H. Goeke Parking Deck.

The two-hour time restriction indicated on marked spaces still applies on both days to make sure all who visit the area may take advantage of the parking holiday.
