Maureen R. (Baker) Donohue, 85, Worked at Western Electric

Maureen R. (Baker) Donohue, 85, of Merrimac, passed away Sept. 16, surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. Baker and Malvina (Lambert) Baker. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1950. She was employed at the former Western Electric and Lucent Technologies as a layout operator. Donohue also worked as a waitress at Maggie’s in North Andover and at Town Market in Merrimac. She liked ballroom dancing, which she enjoyed at the Marigold in Salisbury. She liked to play bingo, do puzzles and watch her favorite television station, the Game Show Network.

Donohue is survived by her children, Debra J. Favalora of Haverhill, Steven M. Donohue of Henderson, Nev., Susan A. Bellerose of Haverhill, and Kevin P. Donohue of Haverhill; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert and Frederick Baker and sisters Joyce Senter and Patricia Gosselin.

Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Donations may be made in her memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843.
