Littlefield Seeks Single-Payer Health Insurance in Congressional Campaign

Third District Congressional candidate Patrick Littlefield, center, on 97.9 WHAV FM’s New Open Mic Show with Bill Macek and Bill Ellis.

In his campaign for Congress, Patrick Littlefield, of Boxborough, aims to “strengthen and renew opportunities for middle class Americans.”

Appearing Monday, April 16, on 97.9 WHAV FM’s New Open Mic Show, Third District congressional candidate Littlefield advocated for universal access to healthcare using the single payer model. Although the government would handle payments, he told co-hosts Bill Macek and Bill Ellis, all healthcare would still be delivered by private physicians and hospitals.

Littlefield previously founded WaveMark, which he sold in 2013 to Cardinal Healthcare. Later, he served as executive director for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair’s Center for Innovation.

The New Open Mic Show is heard live, every Monday night, from 6 to 8 p.m., on 97.9 WHAV FM. Video of the program is also available at WHAV.TV, WHAV’s Facebook page and HC Media Channel 22.
