Lawrence H. Fisher, 67, Drove for Trombley Motor Coach

lawrence_fisherLawrence H. Fisher, 67, of Haverhill, passed away June 6, at the Oxford Rehab and Nursing Center surrounded by his family.

Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada he was the son of the late Norman and Fannie (Mays) Fisher. Raised and educated in Nova Scotia, he was a graduate of Brookfield High School, Truro. After moving to the Haverhill area he was employed as a long haul truck driver. He then became a charter driver for the Trombley Motor Coach for many years.

He is survived by his two sons, Senior Airman U.S. Air Force Benjamin Clay Fisher of Ramstein AFB, Germany, and Mickey Fisher of Deerfield, N.H.; sister Muriel Sanford of Haverhill; and two brothers, Russell Fisher of St. Stephen, N.H., and Ed “Monti” Fisher of Vancouver, British Columbia. He also leaves his driving partner and good friend Danny McIntire. He was predeceased by his siblings, Frances, Erma, Stewart, Ira, Margaret, Doris and Homer.

Family and friends are invited to attend a calling hour Saturday, June 11, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service follows in the funeral home at 2.
