It’s onward and upward for Italian technology equipment-maker Seica. Previously housing their headquarters in Methuen and Salem, N.H., the company has grown enough to expand operations and again relocate Seica HQ to Haverhill’s Ward Hill.

With Seica’s relocation to Avco Road, Ward Hill’s business park is now around 98 percent occupied, Mayor James J. Fiorentini said Friday.

“This is great news for the city,” Fiorentini said. “I’m pleased they purchased their building rather than leasing it, so we know they are truly invested here.”

Seica sells equipment to test circuit boards and largely markets to the automotive, medical and aerospace sectors. The company employs 23 full-time employees nationwide, with other offices in Texas and Mexico.

The City of Haverhill plans to officially welcome Seica to the community at a ribbon-cutting on June 6.
