Today is the final day of GiveBig to MyStation giving days to support 97.9 WHAV.
How much do you pay for subscriptions to out-of-town or even out-of-state publications, cable TV news, online services? Greater Haverhill news gets little more than lip service from those sources, and probably most don’t share your personal values. Consider moving some of your hard-earned money to nonprofit WHAV.
GiveBig to MyStation is an initiative of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters in partnership with Click & Pledge, an innovative online and social media fundraising event that encourages listeners and supporters of community radio to donate to their favorite radio station during the two-day campaign.
“WHAV makes a difference every day in our community as the only Haverhill-based news source,” said President and General Manager Tim Coco.
Continuing until 11:59 p.m., Dec. 30, WHAV supporters may visit GiveBig to MyStation to make tax-deductible donations to support important community and public radio. All online donations go directly to support WHAV’s mission.
