Primary care physician Nita Pant will present a medical Meet the Expert seminar on heart failure at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Tuesday, February 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the ground floor auditorium.

During her presentation, “Patient Education about Heart Failure,” Pant talks about the difference between systolic and diastolic heart failure, explains what patients can do on their own to prevent heart failure and protect their hearts and discusses common medications used to treat heart failure.

This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served. One contact hour is nursing will be awarded at the end of the presentation.
