Haverhill’s Noah Vonleh continues to make his mark on the hardwood, with a recent seven point, six-rebound contribution to his team’s 103-98 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies during Thanksgiving weekend play.

The 23-year-old forward who wears jersey No. 32 will take the court Tuesday night in Detroit when the New York Knicks take on the Pistons starting at 7 p.m.

“He seems to have found a home with the Knicks and hopefully he continues to progress and improve on his stats as he has thus far this season,” WHAV Sports Director Paul Ryan says of the baller.

Selected to play for the Charlotte Hornets in the first round of 2014’s draft, Vonleh transferred to New Hampton School in New Hampton, N.H. in 2011 after a short stint at Haverhill High School. He turned down offers to play for Kansas, North Carolina, UCLA and Ohio State in order to play for Indiana. He played one season for the university before forgoing three years of college in favor of the NBA draft.
