Haverhill Rotary Seeks Nominations of Veterans for November Honors

Haverhill Rotarians are looking for veterans to honor at its planned second annual Veterans Day Breakfast next month.

Judge John C. Stevens III, former Marine and retired Massachusetts trial court judge, will present Rotary Veterans Service Awards to three deserving veterans Thursday, Nov. 9, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at Haverhill Country Club. Tickets are $25 each and tables of 10 are available for $250.

To be eligible for nomination, individuals must have served or be currently serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces and be an active and ongoing resident or volunteer within the City of Haverhill. All nominees will be invited to attend this special breakfast at no charge, said Haverhill Rotary Club President Melissa Cerasuolo. Nominations may be sent to her at [email protected].

The club is also seeking sponsors to pay for veterans’ breakfasts ranging from $50 for a breakfast to a Presenting Sponsorship for $5,000. For more information, call 978-994-9240.
