Haverhill Public Meetings for Week of Feb. 4

The public has opportunities to shape policy this week as various Haverhill boards meet. In the interest of transparency in government, WHAV provides this list of upcoming meetings every week.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

Under the direction of Christine M. Webb, Haverhill’s Board of Assessors meets from 9-10 a.m. in room 115 of City Hall, 4 Summer St.

The City of Haverhill Forest Management Committee gathers at 3 p.m. in room 300 of City Hall with plans to discuss the forest cutting plan for the west side of Millvale Reservoir.

Members of the Haverhill City Council meet in the Theodore A. Pelosi Jr. City Council Chambers, room 202 of City Hall, for the weekly session. As a public service, 97.9 WHAV FM plans to broadcast the meeting live starting at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

The Haverhill Community Affairs Advisory Board sponsors a technical assistance workshop for applicants interested in submitting RFPs from 4-6 p.m. in room 301 of City Hall.

Northern Essex Community College’s Board of Trustees Audit and Finance Subcommittee meets at 4 p.m. in the Hartleb Technology Center’s room TC 103B on the Haverhill Campus.

CNA Stores, the Amesbury-based marijuana dispensary hoping to set up shop on River Street, unveils a business plan during a 6 p.m. community outreach session at the 10 Welcome St. Citizens Center.

Thursday, Feb. 7

Starting at 6 p.m., the Haverhill License Commission addresses concerns in room 202 of City Hall.
