A Haverhill woman, arrested Thursday afternoon by Haverhill police on assault charges, is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.
Samantha Weeden, 27, 1 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday, at 4:13 p.m., at 27 Washington St. She was charged with two counts of assault and battery and one count of assault and battery on a police officer.

Emily Mills, 18, 104 Golden Hill Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:34 a.m., Thursday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, on a warrant related to accessory after the fact.
Melisa Welch, 22, 350 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Thursday, at 1:17 p.m., at 237 Lincoln Ave. on a warrant related to possession of liquor by a person under 21.
