Haverhill Police Nab 5 for Fentanyl Drug Trafficking After High St. Search

Haverhill Police arrested five people this morning on charges ranging from fentanyl drug trafficking to firearms violations after being tipped off by concerned residents.

The Haverhill Police Narcotics Unit seized 149 grams of fentanyl packaged for sale with a street value of more than $10,000, $1,400 cash, a firearm and ammunition after receiving a warrant to search the home at 60 High St., just before 10 a.m., said Detective Lt. Robert P. Pistone, police spokesman.

Arrested were Kenneth Giles, 37, 60 High St.; Scott Giles, 34, 362 Essex St., Lawrence; Geoffrey Davis, 30, 89 Old Hillsboro Road, Henniker, N.H.; Thomas Bradbury, 43, 60 High St.; and Jaclyn Connor, 21, 60 High St. All were charged fentanyl trafficking and conspiracy to violate drug laws. The two Giles, Davis and Connor were also charged with possession of a firearm without a firearms identification card, possession large capacity feeding device and possession of unlicensed ammunition.

“Haverhill Narcotics Detectives received numerous tips and complaints from concerned citizens regarding this location, and did an excellent job of building a case, leading to the successful search warrant and arrests,” Pistone said.

The four men and one woman are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court, sitting in Newburyport.
