Haverhill Man, 19, Faces Stalking and Assault Charges

A Haverhill man faces various police charges, including assault and stalking, after his arrest by Haverhill police during a disturbance Wednesday night.

According to police, Stephen Garrett, 19, of 108 South Prospect St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:34 p.m., Wednesday, at 4 South Spring St. He was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a household member and one count of stalking. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant for charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a class A drug and assault and battery.

Garrett is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news:

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in district court on drug dealing charges following his arrest during an investigation by police detectives. Haverhill police report Christopher Carrier, 21, of 21 Bedford St., Haverhill, was arrested at 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, on Dudley Street. He was charged with distribution of a class B drug, drug possession with intent to distribute and drug violation near a school zone.

Two Haverhill men were due to be arraigned on theft-related charges following separate investigations and arrests by police early Wednesday morning.

Walter Vitalone, 27, of 53 Summer St., Haverhill, was arrested at 1:51 a.m., Wednesday, at 51 Summer St. He was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property.

Later, at 4:54 a.m., police arrested Christopher Cartier, 26, of 34 Vine St., Haverhill, at 323 Main St. on a charge of unarmed robbery.

In other police news, an ongoing warrant sweep by Haverhill police nets five people, including two Grove Street neighbors, on various charges including counterfeiting, theft and drugs.

Police report Kristine Tirone, 21, of Fremont, N.H., was taken into custody at 5 p.m., Wednesday, on Bank Road, for an outstanding warrant charging her with being present where heroin is kept and uttering a counterfeit note.

Estelle Baez, 56, of 11 Grove St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police at 12:01 p.m., Wednesday, at home on a warrant charging her with two counts of drug possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

A short time later, at 12:12 p.m., police arrested Tisha Cerasuolo, 35, of 20 Grove St., Haverhill, at home on a warrant for a charge of assault and battery.

Also, Nathan Caron, 23, of Georgetown, was taken into custody at 4:49 p.m., Wednesday, at 6 Varnum St. Under a warrant, he was charged with felony breaking and entering in the daytime and larceny over $250.

And Michael Robillard, 28, of 35 Jackson St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:24 a.m., Wednesday, at home on a warrant charging him with attempt to commit a crime, witness intimidation and driving with a suspended license.

All five were due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
