Haverhill Leaders to Compete in Charity ‘Cooking With the Pantry Chefs’ Challenge

Community members and local leaders are among those competing in a “Top Chef”-type cooking challenge to benefit The Liz Murphy Open Hand Food Pantry May 17 at the Bradford Country Club.

City Councilor and local attorney Thomas J. Sullivan, Rotary Club incoming President Jim Smith and Pentucket Bank’s Melissa Kindig are three of 14 community members pairing up to create a rapid-fire dish using food pantry staples in front of an audience.

The night includes appetizers and a cash bar. Tickets are $40 per person or $350 per table of 10, available by calling the St. James Rectory at 978-372-8537.
