Haverhill Public Schools has issued the “All Clear” message, ending this morning’s lockdown at Haverhill High School.

School Superintendent Margaret Marotta earlier confirmed for WHAV that Haverhill Police received what was deemed a “non-credible” threat. Sources tell WHAV the threat suggested a would-be shooter was en route to the school.

Marotta said police are sweeping the building as a precaution. She asked that parents not report to the Monument Street school “as to keep a secure environment.” The school department is sending robocalls and placed a statement on its website.

WHAV reached out to Haverhill Police for comment, but there was no immediate response.
