Kyra A. Sevene and Nicholas E. Chacon, members of Haverhill High’s class of 2017 graduated basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
During the eight-week training program, U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Sevene and U.S. Air Force Ariman Chacon learned military discipline, Air Force core values and basic warfare principles. Both service members have the option to apply their training credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
Sevene is the daughter of Kristen and Michael Sevene of Haverhill. Chacon is the son of Liz Paola Quintero of Haverhill.
