Haverhill’s Gabriel Garcia is celebrating the successful completion of basic training from the U.S. Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas, military officials confirm.
Airman Garcia recently wrapped up the eight-week program that includes training in Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principals and skills. He also earned credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.
The husband of Meloney Garcia, the airman graduated from Haverhill High School in 2013.
