Haverhill Democrats Unveil Website, Discuss Plans Next Week

The Haverhill Democratic City Committee plans to unveil its new website and other local party initiatives during a meeting next Monday night in downtown Haverhill.

During what the committee calls, “The Big Reveal,” it will show its new interactive website. The committee will also discuss preparations for the Saturday, June 3, State Democratic Convention in Worcester, details of its Sept. 9 breakfast and actions members can take to resist the Republican TrumpCare Plan and support a Democratic Congress in 2018, according to a press release.

The Haverhill Democratic City Committee meets Monday, May 22, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at Barking Dog Ale House, 77 Washington St., Haverhill. The meeting is open to anyone who would like to join the Committee and there is no charge.

  1. I left the party years ago, after what I’ve seen them do, and who they cater to – it’s basically the communist party of all things come from the government. Republicans are not too much better. I’ll stay unenrolled and vote the best person for the job – no loyalty to party.

    I now know why many of the founding Fathers were leery of “party” politics.
