A 53-year-old Groveland man pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and money laundering charges in Middlesex Superior Court Monday.

Attorney General Maura Healey’s office arraigned John Vivilecchia for his role in the operation in which women were sold for sex in Boston, Braintree, Lexington, Newton and Waltham. He was released on personal recognizance under agreement that he has no contact with the co-defendants and victims.

Arraigned in September, Vivilecchia was one of 10 individuals indicted for trafficking women through the “Chloe’s Companions” website. He was charged with conspiracy to traffic persons for sexual servitude, conspiracy to launder money and sex for a fee.
He next appears in Middlesex Superior Court on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
