Six area residents accurately predicted when a giant snow pile behind EZ-Way Cleaners’ White Street store would melt.
EZ-Way’s “When Will It Melt” contest asked people to predict when the last snowflake, plowed into a giant hill after parking lot clearing, would be reduced to water. Despite warmer April temperatures following the April Fools Day snowstorm, it took until Monday, April 17 for the hill to disappear.
EZ-Way proprietors Peter Carbone and David Gaiero awarded gift certificates to winners Linda Menzies Greenstein, Deb Rogers Thornton, Michelle Pepe, David Thomas, Eric LaFleur and Jane Smith.
