Elaine F. (Bayek) Brandolini, 83, of Walsh’s General Store

Elaine F. (Bayek) Brandolini, 83, wife of the late Richard A. Brandolini, passed away April 12 at Penacook Place in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late William and Anne E. (Sewasky) Bayek. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1952 where she was Treasurer of her class.

Elaine obtained her Associates degree from secretarial school in Boston. She began her career as a secretary for the Schrafft’s Candy Company in Charlestown, and along with her husband, owned and operated Walsh’s General Store in Plaistow from 1968 until 1978. She then was employed for many years as Executive Secretary at the former AVCO, in Wilmington retiring in 1996. She was a Lioness of the Plaistow, N.H. Lions Club and Whittier Tech Football Boosters.

Elaine loved traveling, especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elaine is survived by her children, Richard J. Brandolini and his wife, Susan Clarke Brandolini of Haverhill; Carol A. Baker of Chester, N.H.; William A. Brandolini and his wife Linda (Gobeil) of Haverhill; sister in law Rosemarie Bayek of Plaistow, N.H.; grandchildren Allison Baker, Michael and Cassie Baker, Sarah and Chuck Malagodi, Scott Brandolini, Vincent Brandolini, William A. Brandolini, Jr.; ten great grandchildren; Anabella Brandolini, Jordan Gregorie, Brandon Callahan, Rosabella Ward, Ryan Baker, Lucca Brandolini, Giovani Brandolini, Lorenzo Brandolini, Connor Malagodi, Kendall Baker and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Richard she is predeceased by her brother William G. Bayek.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 15 from 2-5 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.

Funeral services will begin on Tues. morning, April 17 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill.
