Eighth Avenue Man Faces Child Rape Charges

A 49-year-old Haverhill man faces multiple charges of aggravated rape of a child following his arrest late Friday morning.

William Beier, of 17 Eighth Ave., was arrested just before 11 a.m., at Haverhill Police Station, on warrants. Four warrants relate to aggravated rape of a child, while a single warrant each relate to indecent assault and battery on a child, indecent assault on a person and assault to rape child.

Haverhill police confirmed this weekend the charges are unrelated to other child abuse cases. No additional information was available by news deadline.

Roberto Sanchez, 30, 25 New St., was charged with possession of drugs, Friday night, just before 11, at 93 Lafayette Square.

Michael Cain, 35, 258 Washington St., was arrested Friday, 1:13 p.m., at 258 Washington St., on warrants relating to larceny over $250 and shoplifting more than $100.

Pedro Jimenez, 45, 62 Washington St., was charged with drunken driving and driving with a suspended license, following his arrest Saturday, just before 9 p.m., at 247 River St.

Angel Rohena, 28, 3 Federal St., was charged with driving with a suspended license, Saturday, at 28 Nichols St.

Lindsay Markin, 31, of Methuen, was charged with drunken driving and crossing marked lanes, Sunday afternoon, on Lowell Avenue.

Timothy Sullivan, 51, 150 Riverside Ave., was arrested Sunday, just before 10 p.m., on warrants related to larceny over $250.
