Democratic Candidates to Address Public at September Breakfast

Democratic candidates for the state representative seat being vacated by Rep. Brian S. Dempsey are expected to address the public when the Haverhill Democratic City Committee has its annual breakfast next month.

School Committeeman Paul A. Magliocchetti and City Councilor Andy Vargas have been invited, along with candidates for local elected office and Democratic candidates for governor, Setti Warren, Jay Gonzalez and Bob Massie, according to the committee.

Several members will also be honored as “Distinguished Democrats” for their contributions. Ticket holders may also participate in a straw poll.

The breakfast, open to the public, takes place Saturday, Sept. 9, from 10 to 11:30 at the Galleria Banquet Room of Maria’s Restaurant, 85 Essex St., Haverhill.

Tickets are $25 and may be purchased by calling Roz McKeon at 978-373-4032 or emailing [email protected].

  1. Distinguished Democrats…hopefully they won’t name one of the space -shot, lefty-wingbats like Ms. Bemelmans. Oh, Im sure shes well meaning but, talk about someone who could turn off the average person.

They have members that, are (more…What shall we say grounded) actually getting things done on boards, commissions, charities, and business.

It hurts to see Toohey running. Just an untrustworthy, slippery, puppet of Bill Ryan.
