Employers can receive up to $250,000 to train existing workers, $25,000 for safety training and help filling job openings or managing temporary layoffs.
ValleyWorks Career Center and the City of Haverhill are inviting employers to learn more about available grants, tax incentives and other resources during a Workforce Development Grants Seminar Friday, Dec. 16, from 8 a.m. to noon, at Northern Essex Community College, Hartleb Technology Center, room TC-103A, Haverhill.
Presentations take place from 8 to 9:30, followed by individual consultations until noon.
