Music history is on the agenda for a Feb. 7 talk and book signing at Haverhill High School organized by teacher Tom Jordan. James Sullivan will discuss Which Side Are You On: 20th Century American History in 100 Protest Songs” starting at 7 p.m. in the high school library at 137 Monument St.

The event featuring Sullivan—the author of five books and a contributor to both the Boston Globe and Rolling Stone—is free and open to the public.
