Anthony W. Harper, 29, Welder

Anthony W. Harper, 29, passed away on April 17.

Born in Lincoln, Maine, he was the son of Laurence L. Harper Jr. and Barbara E. Wilson. Raised and educated in Lawrence, he was a graduate of Lawrence High School’s class of 2006.

Harper was employed as a welder with the Iron Workers Union Local 7 in Boston. He also worked security for various clubs in the Boston area. Known for his adventurous spirit, he rode BMX, loved hiking the mountains and hanging at the beach with his dog “Mr. Miyagi.” Harper had a great sense of humor and enjoyed listening to all genres of music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Harper is survived by his mother Barbara Wilson of Raymond, N.H., his father Laurence L. Harper, Jr. and his partner, Edna Saunders of Haverhill, his son, Caden Ryan Burke of Haverhill, brother Jared M. Davies of North Carolina, sisters, Andrea S. Harper and her fiance Daniel J. Martineau of Methuen and Alivia A. Harper of Haverhill, grandmother Sandra Boyle of Rotterdam, N.Y., grandfather, Laurence L. Harper, of Enfield, Maine, uncle Sean Wilson of Schenectady, N.Y., aunts Jeannie Griffiths of Methuen, Leigh Ann Johnson of Townsend, godparents, William and Susan DeNuzzio of Leominster, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Christopher P. “CJ” Davies, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 22 from 2-5 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
