Students at Andover’s Bancroft Elementary School have officially made it onto Santa’s nice list this holiday season.

The Massachusetts State Police recently accepted more than 300 toy donations from fourth and fifth grade students for the Andover Barracks’ Toys for Tots collection drive.

For the seventh year in a row, students attempted to fill Trooper Robert MacAllister’s police cruiser with toys, succeeding this year after collecting toys throughout the month of December.

The Toys for Tots donation drive concluded on Dec. 13, with Marines picking up toys for distribution to needy children across the Commonwealth in the days leading up to Christmas.
