Evelyn I. (Guyette) Rand, 95, of Haverhill died Sunday, Oct. 26, at Hannah Duston Health Care, Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill, August 28, 1919, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Adams) Guyette. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Rand graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1937, and until her retirement in 1981 was employed at the former Western Electric. Rand loved taking care of her home and she, along with her late husband, enjoyed decorating it with their antique finds. She was a member of the former People’s United Methodist Church, Bradford. Rand was the wife of the late Clinton L. Rand who died in 1988, grandmother of the late Christopher M. Drelich and sister of the late Ruth A. Poore.
Her survivors include a daughter, Bonnie and her husband Zbigniew “Zib” Drelich of Bradford, a son, Clinton L. Rand, Jr. and his wife Donna of Thornton, N.H., a grandson, Clint H. Rand and his wife Kate of Ledyard, Conn. and two nieces, Judy P. Maynard and Nancy P. Lanfersiek. There were no calling hours. Her funeral service was held on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
